Family History: It’s All Relative

As I have previously mentioned, I originally found this info on another web site a few years ago.  Since then that site has moved or gone down completely.  Luckily, I had a print out of the contents that I’d kept in my research files (I have kin buried there) and have recreated the listing here.

 

Since this is not first-hand info, I can’t guarantee the accuracy.  However, I believe it to be very close to absolutely right.

 

The access to Flowers Cemetery is not exactly handicap –friendly but I hope to make it back out there myself soon.  When I do, I’ll double check the info and photo the grave markers.

Although I can’t recall their headstone inscriptions, I do know for a fact that the parents of Carl Norris are also buried in Flowers Cemetery.  They were John and Lucy Norris, my great grandparents.

I actually wondered for years how my Norris kin ended up in the Flowers Cemetery.  Well, Lucy’s father was Richard Adams and his parents were the M.L. and Ann Adams buried here also.  Incidentally, the “M” stands for Mark and Ann’s maiden name was Flowers.  J.R. and Mildred (Roberts) Flowers were Ann’s parents.

 

I figure that some of the other Adams’ and Flowers laid to rest here are ancestors, too, but as of yet I’ve not found the link.
