MRS. MABEL A. PLYBON, 74, of Huntington passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2003, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, August 16, at the Reger Funeral Chapel. Mabel was born April 6, 1929, in Cabell County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Roy and Stacey Spencer Lane. She was a homemaker and a private duty nurse. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Plybon and one daughter, Geneva Jean Plybon. Survivors include three sons, Donald Trippet, Michael Plybon, both of Huntington, Robert Stickler of Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Billie Lynn Young of Huntington; six grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Lane of Texas, Harvey Lane and Eddie Lane, both of Huntington; two sisters, Sammy Arthur of Huntington and Barbara Clagg of Pennsylvania; and a very special friend, Helen Wolfe. Friends may call for one hour before the service on Saturday at Reger Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to plant a tree in Mabel's memory.
