WILLIAM "BILL" PLYBON, 73 years old left in the arms of Jesus to his heavenly home to join his wife, Iris, by the river of life on Jan. 19. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church of which dad was a member and where he was also a youth Sunday school teacher, by Pastor Luther Morgan; burial will follow in the Maple Hill Section of Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova. He was also a retiree of Connors Steel. Preceding him in death were his parents, Cleo and Fannie Plybon, brothers Frank and Jackie and sister Rebecca. Survivors include daughters, Penny Laslo, Paula Byrd, Priscilla Stiltner and Phyllis Eastham; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cleo Jr., Edgar, Don, Carroll and Bob Plybon; sisters, Joann Adkins, Rosie Leep and Karen Dixon, and a large extended family and many friends. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home; and after noon on Friday at the church which is located at 2325 Johnstown Road.

DONALD RAY PLYBON, 70, of Prichard, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, in Mason County, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, at the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Dyer. Burial will follow at the Plybon Family Cemetery in Prichard, W.Va. He was the son of the late Cleo B. and Fannie Adkins Plybon. Also preceding him in death are one son, Bryan Plybon; one daughter, Donna Ann Plybon; two brothers, Frank and Bill Plybon and one sister, Rebecca Plybon. He was a very loving husband, father and a devoted family man. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He retired from Steel of West Virginia after for 43 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mazie Bias Plybon; three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Ray and Linda Plybon, David "Porky" and Carolyn Plybon and Donnie and Jacqueline Plybon, all of Prichard, W.Va.; two daughters and son-in-law, Janie Estep of Huntington and Denitta and Gary Wroblewski of Ashland; 17 grandchildren, Kim Black, Justin "Sluggo", Deidre, Jacklyn, Cristy, Ashley, Donnetta "Nettie" Plybon, all of Prichard, W.Va., Shawna Waller, Jessica Massie, Erica Jefferds, all of Huntington, Jeremy and Jamie Chapman, Madison and Jordan Day of Prichard, Erin, Kyle and a special grandson, Zachary "Bubs" Wroblewski, all of Ashland; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Cleo Plybon, Jr., Edgar Plybon, Robert Plybon and Carrol Plybon; and three sisters, Jo Ann Adkins, Rosie Leep and Karen Dixon. Friends may call from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday at the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church, 2111 James River Road, Huntington. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
